History
The Iranian Syndicate of Consulting Architects & Planners was founded in 1994 initially with 36 members by the efforts of the founding board; pioneering professionals of Architecture and urban planning of Iran. After eight consecutive quarters with 112 members, mostly Grade 1 & 2 consulting firms, with approved qualifications by the Office of Consultants and Contractors of Management and Planning Organization, members are actively performing in designing, supervision and management of projects in national, regional, and local levels, also development and export of building design and technical services.
The syndicate cooperates with building industry societies such as the Iranian Society of Consulting Engineers," ISCE " The Syndicate of Construction Companies "SCC", and The Iranian Engineering Organization" IEO" also an active member of the Coordinating Council of, Engineering Corporative, and Professional Formations of the country. The main goals 0f the strategic plan 2015-2018 is to attract active members, especially recently established firms also aiming for collaborations with foreign similar organizations in the near future .
The board of directors consists of 7 principal members and 3 alternatives, elected, by direct votes of members for a term of 3 years. The meetings of the Board are held once a week. The working committees are, Architecture, Urban planning and, Legal committees and five ancillary work groups.

Board of Founders
Iranian Syndicate of Consulting Architects and Planners was founded by a group of professional senior architects and planners on 27th December 1992 and was formally announced by the official gazette. It has since been continued for eight consecutive periods.

Organization
Based on “Item no. "13" of the syndicate statute, general assemblies are the upmost part of the syndicate and are being held by the gathering of member representatives in the forms of ordinary and extraordinary assemblies every three years. Members are invited through general announcements in a widely published newspaper and also with written invitations by setting, date, time and location of the assembly as well as the attached meeting agenda for the event.

Members of the Syndicate are always expecting to receive services in technical supports, up-to-date information as well as social services with suitable expenses. These expectations could be better feel by our colleagues in the current economic situation
Board of directors, committees and workgroups members have had six main goals in providing better services to members. These aims which were announced in the newsletter of 24th October 2015, are:
1) Entrepreneurship and business development.
2) Advocating Union rights.
3) Effective contribution in the process of reformation of professional legislations.
4) Restructuring of media.
5) Developing the membership.
6) Funding requirements.
By achieving these goals at designated time, we expect to become a more trustable and negotiable organization and transform the syndicate to a strong and extensive institution.
